Besides acting, I have written, adapted and translated material for the stage.
Translating
I have translated children's TV series to be dubbed in Finnish. Shows I've translated include "The Brilliant World of Tom Gates" and "TrollsTopia".
I have also translated individual musical numbers to be performed by myself and my colleagues. I have yet to translate an entire show for theatre, but it's definitely something I yearn to do! So far, I have translated into Finnish songs from shows such as The Book of Mormon, Dracula, First Date, Dear Evan Hansen, Carrie, Chorus Line, Flower Drum Song, Scarlett Pimpernel, The Wild Party and The Island Song. I'd be happy to send over a translating sample if asked. Some of my translations can be hear over at the Work samples page.
The Sauna Performance (2020) is literally a performance that takes place in a sauna. This performance, created by the five members of the Löylylyylit collective, was a joint literary and directorial effort. I myself wrote two monologues and provided insight on the dramaturgic composition of the show. The other four members of Löylylyylit besides myself are Masters of Arts Roosa Söderholm, Anni Pesonen, Emma Castrén and Tuuli Kainulainen.
The Unfortunate Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (2019) was my artistic thesis for the Theatre Academy. I adapted Robert Louis Stevenson's novella The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde into an intimate chamber play for two actors. I was responsible for the dramaturgy and direction of the play – although some directorial effort was also provided by my co-star. I also designed the staging and lighting for the show together with my team members Anna-Sofia Tuominen (actor) and Anna Haaraoja (sound designer).

I'm a long-time volunteer in the Desucon events centered around Japanese comic books and animated series. When we celebrated Desucon's tenth year of existence in 2018, I put together a musical performance telling the - not entirely historically accurate - story of the event's genesis.
